Hexagonal pool simulation; early day but playable
This pool game does away with classic tropes of the genre – the rectangle shape of the table has been scraped, the 8 ball pool rules no longer apply, nor the rules of 9 ball pool or snooker. Nope, this game, from A to Z is all about originality, as it tasks you with filling a ball in each of the 6 holes of the hexagonal table. You'll think, at first, due to the colors used for the cover of the table (pink!) that this is some sort of jokester game. Well, not really, you'll be amazed at how well the mechanics of it all work, how the balls behave realistically and, at the same time, you'll have a great time readjusting yourself to the new hexagonal mantles and all that they entice. Because, of course, the strategies to employ here are drastically different, and you will definitely see how much of a difference changing the counter of the table does.
