The businessman's economic and trading sim!
How would you like to be a commodities trader, establishing the prices and having your go in the biggest markets of the world? Well, that might sound less convincing than, say, a tycoon that lets you to manage a zoo but same people might have it differently. So, with that in mind let's see what this game is actually all about. Well, as the name boringly enough suggests, you'll be a broker of commodities; that is you'll establish where everyday goods end up being shipped, for what prices and so on. Maybe it sounds boring to you, but for a business oriented person it's by no means like that, nope, it's a game that will sharpen your economic senses, as it shows you how much money is at stake even in the most common of goods out there. In Tycoon: The Commodity Market Simulation you can choose to buy or sell anything from gold to beans, so in that aspect diversity is well simulated. Also, the game is pretty well rounded when it come to its portrayal of the highs and lows of market share, futures, stock indexes and so much more. Yap, Tycoon: The Commodity Market Simulation is a really complex game, but for the right player it will really make sense. What some might not really enjoy is the really olden graphics, but, don't forget this was a game released back in 86, so don't expect anything too colorful. But the mathematics of trade and so forth are very well simulated and it's there where this game shines. So, for the right kind of individual this will really be a blast of a game, with not that many similar games designed in recent times.
