Well rounded pool sim, suited for serious pool players
Real world pool is the kind of game that can be a bit daunting for some of us, while for others it can prove a natural gift. But, those of us that weren't born with the geometrical acuity to actually get the game from the start, the better simulations out there can teach us a trick or two about the game. And, within this niche, Pool Paradise is one of the better options, for a couple of reasons. One of them and without a doubt the most important is because Pool Paradise is a very accurate depiction of the real pool game, 8 balls, 9 balls and so on. That stems from a very accurate design of the physics interactions, while the game packs in the kind of interfaces that make playing so easy. You can enable or disable aids as you see fit, you can choose which aids to use at any time and the AI controlled players can put on a fight that is in tune with their personalities. Along with Pool Shark I would say that Pool Paradise is one of the better simulations out there, graphically great, almost impeccable in the way the geometry and physics interactions take place and this great for those that want to get ahead in the game without playing the real world game.
